Managing Director
Ulf Linders is the Managing Director of NMI. Mr. Linders was most recently Head Asia and Power/Renewables worldwide of Sweden's Development Finance Institution for investments in emerging markets.
Mr. Linders has extensive experience from various business sectors in many countries. Earlier appointments include President of ABB Leasing GmbH, Mannheim; Vice President ABB Europe Ltd, Brussels; Senior Banker at European Bank/EBRD, London as well as facilitator for OEM production and brand sourcing originated in China and India.
Mr. Linders holds a Bachelor of Arts (Business Administration) from Lund and Uppsala University. He also has Postgraduate education and training from IMD, Harvard Institute for International Development, JFK Government School and ABB Academy in Baden, Switzerland.
Investment Director, NMI Frontier Fund
Knut Frigaard is the Investment Director of the NMI Frontier Fund. Prior to joining NMI, he worked for 10 years at Verdane Capital Advisors, a Nordic focused venture capital company investing in early stage companies and portfolio acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Frigaard also worked at McKinsey & Company where he served clients in various sectors, with a focus on strategic planning and operational excellence. He has also held positions at Médecins Sans Frontierès and Mamut ASA. In addition, Mr. Frigaard has served on numerous boards in the Nordic region as well as in Europe and the US.
Mr. Frigaard holds a MBA from INSEAD (France) and a Siviløkonom degree from Norwegian Business School. In addition to Norwegian, he speaks English and French.
Investment Director, NMI Global Fund
Njord Andrewes is the Investment Director of the NMI Global Fund. Prior to joining NMI, Mr. Andrewes was a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Lazard Capital Markets. Before Lazard, Mr. Andrewes was an Equity Research Analyst at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC. He began his career at Robertson Stephens in Sales and Trading. Mr. Andrewes received an MBA in Finance from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and a B.A. in Economics from Hope College.
Investment Associate, NMI
Anna Waage Klawitter is an Investment Associate at NMI. Prior to joining NMI, Mrs. Klawitter was an Investment Analyst with Kempen Capital Management in Edinburgh, Scotland, covering European small-cap equities. Mrs. Klawitter holds the Siviløkonom degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and an MSc in Economics (Finance) from the University of Edinburgh. She is also a CFA Charterholder. Mrs. Klawitter is on maternity leave until January 2013.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Ole Sandsbraaten is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of NMI. Mr. Sandsbraaten has extensive experience from various companies in the area of financial analysis, auditing and accounting. Earlier appointments include Auditor at Price Waterhouse, CFO at IKANO Finans AS, and Finance Director at Majortrans Flytteservice AS. In the last four years, Mr. Sandsbraaten has led his own financial consulting services firm.
Mr. Sandsbraaten holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration from Norwegian Business School (BI) and advanced studies in Accounting and Auditing at Norwegian School of Economics (NHH ).
